Salvation in Christ Alone

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the works of the law.

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law.

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the cross, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

And he said unto them, "Ye are from beneath; I am from above: you are of this world; I am not of this world".

I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

And he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit.

He did good and gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons.

I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heaven.

And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven.

For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

Behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain You.

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that He might fill all things.

The LORD is in His holy temple; the LORD’S throne is in heaven.

And immediately I was in the Spirit: and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away."

"For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished."

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
