The LDS church removed the Lectures on Faith and Journal of Discourses from its canon.

- Joseph Smith’s revision and retranslation of the King James Version began in June 1830 and ended July 2, 1833. He prepared a manuscript for publication but it was not published before his death. Only Genesis (Book of Moses) and Matthew (Joseph Smith—Matthew) are canonized by the LDS church in the Pearl of Great Price.
